Day 12
Labrador to St. Anthony
Got up and headed to the ferry dock. We had rain overnight, trailer was wet inside, so we were delayed a bit. When the ferry was loaded, there was no room for us! Instead of leaving at 10:30, we had to wait until 3:30. Went back into town for lunch. Met a very nice couple from Nova Scotia. They were also waiting for the next ferry. We were invited to wait at the dock with them in their truck camper. We were really impressed with the amount of room inside - not to mention their hospitality! But that's how folks are here.
We visited with them on the ferry for a while. Saw whales in the straits just off the ferry.
It was getting late, so we drove right to St. Anthony and got a room.
